Description
SEVERE: This log message shows up if a message text could not be found (internal test).
Solution
Internal problem of the application. Update or upgrade to the latest software version first. Please try to install and activate a different localization e.g. English (default) and restart the application.

BATTMAN-0001: Unknown argument %value% ignored
Description
WARNING: Displayed if the application detected an unknown command line argument. The unknown argument is printed along with the message.
Solution
Unknown command lines arguments are simply ignored and printed in the log file. Please check out the command line arguments supported by your application version and adjust the arguments accordingly. You can find a list of supported command line arguments in the Leisenfels product download area.

Description
SEVERE: This log message shows up if the application properties could not be loaded. Missing application properties may cause application modules malfunctions. For example, the license file may not be evaluated properly so that the application will not work.

BATTMAN-0009: Configuration directory %dir% cannot be used
Description
WARNING: This log message shows up if the specified configuration directory cannot be used. The requested configuration directory is printed along with this message.
Solution
The configuration directory can be specified as command line argument. If the requested directory cannot be used due to wrong permissions etc. then this message is logged. The application will then use the default configuration directory in the user's home. Please check out the command line arguments passed to the application and adjust the configuration directory to an appropriate value.

BATTMAN-0015: Valid license key could not be found
Description
WARNING: This message is displayed if a valid license key could not be found.
Solution
No valid product license key could be found. Open the register tab of the status dialog to register at least using an evaluation license. Without license the application cannot be used and will exit if the dialog is closed.

Description
WARNING: Displayed if a required SQL statements file could not be loaded. The missing SQL statements file name is printed along with the message.
Solution
Internal problem of the application. Update or upgrade to the latest software version first. Please check out if a different application installer appropriate for your database is available.

BATTMAN-0022: Owner frame or dialog could not be detected
Description
WARNING: Printed if the owner window for a dialog or frame could not be determined. The dialog or frame is then displayed parentless which means that is acts standalone showing the default icon. The dialog or frame will not block the main window here which may cause data loss or corruption e.g. if database entries are being edited.
Solution
Internal problem of the application. Update or upgrade to the latest software version first. The dialog or frame should be exited immediately without saving any data. Normally, this can be easily achieved by pressing the CANCEL button or the ESCAPE key.

BATTMAN-0023: AWT event dispatching interrupted
Description
SEVERE: Logged if the GUI hang state has been detected and the application has been interrupted.
Solution
Internal problem of the application. Update or upgrade to the latest software version first. Normally, the application tries to cancel the executed code responsible for this message. While this will be successful in most situations it may be possible that the application does not react any longer. Please wait some minutes and see if the application re-enters a proper state again. If the application still hangs, then try to terminate the application process e.g. with the Windows Task Manager application (press Control+Shift+Escape) and restart the application. Hanging applications are often caused by broken network connections or file system problems.

BATTMAN-0024: Application has not been terminated properly
Description
WARNING: Logged if the application has not been properly terminated the last time.
Solution
If the application is terminated using the Windows Task Manager application then the final log message is missing. This condition is detected the next time that the application is being started. If configured, the user may then send a status report containing the previous log file to the Leisenfels support team (optional).
