Description

SEVERE: Logged if the GUI hang state has been detected for a certain period of time. The malfunctioning internal event ID and the time period are printed along with the message.

Solution

Internal problem of the application. Update or upgrade to the latest software version first. Normally, the application tries to cancel the executed code responsible for this message. While this will be successful in most situations it may be possible that the application does not react any longer. Please wait some minutes and see if the application re-enters a proper state again. If the application still hangs, then try to terminate the application process e.g. with the Windows Task Manager application (press Control+Shift+Escape) and restart the application. Hanging applications are often caused by broken network connections or file system problems.
